ezboard attacked

I don't know how many of you check out some of the ezboards, but it's been a nightmare there the last couple of days. Here's a brief statement:

On Tuesday May 31 ezboard's systems were the victim of a very precise and malicious internet attack. This attack resulted in the loss of a significant amount of current and historical board postings and interrupted services across all systems.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I think there are over 9000 boards in that system. Some weren't affected and some are totally nonfunctional at this point. Luckily there was no personal information stored on the server that was attacked.

I'm not able to get my daily 'Lost' fix.

Hopefully they won't get the idea to hit HostBoard

Although if they did - that would give me a perfect excuse to install a board on my host for everyone LOL

I believe they were able to track the source of the attack and are now preparing legal action against the perpetrator.

dumbasses... forgot the most important rule...

NEVER attack from an IP that can be traced to you.

we live in the "wireless age".... attack from somebody else's network...
